Hi Singers,
After this long winter, we’re looking forward to singing with you again. Registration is now open for our spring term which runs Monday 2 March - Monday 11 May (excluding April 6). See the attached poster for more details.
Our membership fee is $85 per 10-week term and we offer the first night free for those who want to ‘try before they buy’. Payments can be made via etransfer to treasurylakefieldsingers@gmail.com, by cheque or by cash.
Paid-up members will receive sheet music and learning tracks so if you want a sneak peek of what we’re singing this year, make sure you pay your dues before March 2nd!
One last thing - this choir doesn’t run on magic and music dust (sadly). We have a Committee working away behind the scenes and that Committee needs help. If you love this choir and have a little extra time, please consider volunteering.

Fall 2025
Hello Singers,
We're excited to announce that registration is now open for our Fall Season! And what a season it will be. This year, we have a new director, a new venue, & a new rehearsal night!
Fees? $85 per 10 week term*. Payments can be made via etransfer, cheque or cash and are due before Monday, Sept. 8. If you're a newcomer to the choir or unsure whether you want to join this term, you may attend our first rehearsal with no commitment or fee. If you then decide to join, the $85 membership will be payable by our second rehearsal on Monday, Sept. 15.
How to join? Email Mary at conchelos@gmail.com with your name, payment method, and indicating which part you sing. If you're not sure whether you're a soprano, alto, bass or tenor, check out the page 'What Part do I Sing?'
This upcoming term marks a new era in the life of Lakefield Singers. Kim is deeply committed to the choir and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us.

CANCELLATION
Winter 2024
Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our winter session which was to begin Wednesday the 17th.
Our wonderful director, Linda, has been ill and is unable to lead the choir this winter. Although she thought she would be much better by now, she is still pretty exhausted, and getting her strength back must be her priority. She did not make this decision easily.
We wish her a full recovery.
Those who have prepaid will, of course, have their payment reimbursed.
We will keep everybody posted as to the spring session.

Fall 2023
*Individuals become choir members upon receipt of payment per term. No refunds or credits will be issued if members later choose to withdraw from the choir as we commit to fixed expenses at the beginning of each term. For the same reason, refunds will not be issued for any rehearsals members are unable to attend. When rehearsals are cancelled due to factors out of the Committee's control (e.g weather conditions), no refunds will be issued. Where possible, the Committee will extend later rehearsals or schedule others to make up the time, but this is not guaranteed.
